DIY Miter Saw Table

Matt and I are in the middle of redoing our garage. We redid one side of the garage last year, but we have been putting off redoing our workbench area, but it was time. Last weekend we worked on the garage shelves. Details on how we did that can be found on this blog post. It was raining again this weekend in Dallas, so it was back to work on a our garage.

We have been using the Ana White Garage Built-In (below) as a the starting point for this project. We did have to customize this for our space since we live in an older house and have weird pipes and drywall sticking out everywhere.

This weekend we need to build the table for the miter saw. Luckily, this was the one piece of the project we did not have to alter, so we followed the instructions from Ana White 95% by the book. Here you can find the link to the miter saw plan and what it will look like when it is completed below.

This link gives the step-by-step instructions on how to do this and how long your cuts should be. If you are looking for tools needed to complete the project, here is the list you need.

Tools:

Peg Board (optional for the space)

Check out my Garage Highlights on Instagram to see the details on how we did this. We changed up the shelves slightly to fit our storage needs, but it still looks just as good as Ana White's.

If you want to add extra storage, add a pegboard above the table to maximize the space. See how it looks in our garage.
