Picking out rugs for rooms is one of my favorite things to do in the design process. I tend to design my rooms around rugs, art, and other statement pieces, so these are usually the first things that I find for a room.
When I was looking for a rug in our sunroom, the first thing I was looking for was a durable rug. We go through rugs pretty fast in our sunroom because it is the room are dogs run in and out of to go outside. They are savages and destroy everything they touch, so I needed a rug that could withstand three crazy animals. My best bet for durability was an indoor/outdoor rug.
