Matt and I spent ours this weekend tearing apart the old, gross wood on our deck and replacing it with brand new planks. It hurts to move my body, but I am SO glad we spent hours working on it. Our deck looks so much better already. I cannot wait to start decorating and entertaining in the backyard once quarantine restrictions have been lifted.
I am about to start staining our deck, and then the fun part - decorating! I am spending some time right now figuring out what I want our new deck to look like. This is what I am thinking so far:
Our exterior door is already painted blue, and I don’t want to change that, so I am going to work around that color. I am thinking a black and navy combo is exactly what this space needs. Here are the links/sources for all the items I am considering:
