Hey guys! I decided I was going to start recapping my favorite things from the week, so here we go for my first stab at this.
In Dallas this week, the weather cannot decide what it wants to be. It has been 50 degrees, 80 degrees, rainy, and sunny. Let me tell you this is doing wonders for my allergies. In between the doses of Sudafed and Benadryl, I have been able to work on some projects this week mostly in my backyard and my garage. I made a ton of progress, but definitely more left to go. Recovering perfectionist over here.
Anyways, I am a believer in the law of threes. My days in the corporate world have taught me that one of the best ways to communicate information to people in a way that they remember is in a group of three. So, here are my three favorite things from the week.
Y'all one of my favorite designers, Studio McGee, and my favorite store, Target (duh), launched a collaboration this week. Let me be like 1 of 10,000 people to tell you, this collaboration is FANTASTIC. The collaboration has anything from decor to pillows to furniture. Literally, I would buy all of these things to put in my house. I ordered a few things this week that I am going to use to decorate some bookshelves that I can't wait to show y'all. Check out the products here.
Spring is here..
...the sky is blue, whoa-oh-oh. Birds all sing as if they knew... No one is going to the Chapel of Love today, but the flowers, the pollen is falling, and the air is crisp. I love it! I spent a few hours this weekend at the garden store around the corner from my house. Praise that this is considered an essential business is Dallas right now. I picked up some plants and flowers to plant in my front and backyard. Now, I am just praying that my plant annihilator, Gunner, leaves these beauties alone. Anyone have any tips to get dogs to stop digging up plants? I need them.
Power Washing
I have discovered a new love - Power washing. There is something so soothing about washing dirt because aggressively washed away from stone. It is mesmerizing. I also love the way power washing can transform a dirty old fence or patio. I can't wait to see you the before and after of our backyard with our power washing this weekend. Here is a sneak peak of what our fire pit area looks like after a good power wash. If you do not have a power washer at home, I highly recommend investing in one. Matt and I have one from Ryobi that you can find here.
Hope you guys have a great week!
